Limits
Limits determine how many hands can be dealt and how much a player can raise in each betting interval. The number of chips a player may bet is limited to an established minimum and higher for the later betting intervals (turn and river). If a player has more than this amount, his additional bets go into one or more side pots, which are shared among players who contributed fully to them.
While there are fewer options for betting structures in Limit games, you can still make the game more profitable by playing premium hands aggressively. For instance, you can bluff with small pairs that are likely to be behind in preflop and flop betting rounds. Additionally, you can make raises with suited connectors that are unlikely to lose against big paired hands. Knowing the limits of each game helps you calculate the odds and make better decisions at the table. Ultimately, it will allow you to avoid a costly showdown with a weak hand.
Bluffing
